Intro
Highlights
The name Anabezi is derived from the camp being situated on the Zambezi River and the many Ana Trees or Winter Thorns (Faidherbia albida) that surround the camp. These winterthorns drop corn yellow pods which attract a wide variety of animals to the area including many elephants, buffalo, and a variety of antelopea welcome sight in the camp.
Need To Know
Anabezi is built on the grounds of the old Ana Tree Lodge in the Lower Zambezi National Park. The camp is situated furthest in the park, thus offering great game viewing and exclusivity.
Safaris
Walking Safaris, Canoeing Safaris, day and night drive safaris. All safaris are taken by our well qualified, knowledgeable guides. The camps are equipped with game vehicles that seat 4 guests. The seats are interchangeable to seat 4, 6 or 9 guests accommodating group bookings. Guides may end off the guests' safaris with a refreshment as they watch the African sunset.
Wildlife
Anabezi has a resident Leopard who is spotted walking through the camp every 3 to 4 days. Lions and the endangered Wild Dogs species have also been seen in and around the area of Anabezi.
The National Park boasts some 500 different bird species, herds of buffalo, elephant, a wide variety of antelope and many smaller mammals including honey badger, porcupine, aardvark and even pangolin.

Anabezi consists of 11 luxury tents 1000sqft in size built on raised platforms, each with 2 double teak beds under one mosquito net, an indoor and outdoor bathroom, a plunge pool and private deck. 24 hour battery power and hot and cold filtered water.
The Family tent consists of 2 double beds and 2 single beds, 2 outside bathrooms and 1 inside bathroom, a lounge, plunge pool and private deck.
