The unique bush homes of Ant's Nest & Ant's Hill are situated in a privately owned game conservancy in the malaria-free Waterberg area of South Africa. Owned and run by Ant and Tessa Baber, whose pioneering ancestors were settlers in the 1800's, they pride themselves on offering an exhilarating wildlife experience.

Winner, 'Best Riding Operator in Africa' 2011, The Ant Collection caters for all riding abilities with no more than 6 guests of similar ability in any group, and led by two highly-qualified guides. Guided mountain biking, game drives and walks to spot the 40 species of game are also a favourite.

Need To Know
With magnificent views into the gorge, each secluded and spacious room is perfect for enjoying private meals and massages, and comes equipped with the little luxuries like tea and coffee making facilities and mini bar. Ant's Hill is seven bedrooms, Ant's Nest is six.
Safaris
Driving, walking, riding, cycling, hiking. With no more than six guests of similar ability in any group, and led by two guides, riding safaris are a speciality. The highly qualified guides can also lead mountain biking, game drives and walks to see the diverse topography and over 40 species of game.
Wildlife
Guests will often see white rhino, zebra, giraffe, warthog, blue wildebeest, sable antelope, nyala, waterbuck, impala, red hartebeest, blesbok, kudu, buffalo, livingstone eland, oryx, to name but a few. There are also over 300 recorded species of birds in the area.
