The refined tents are shrouded by the rich vegetation, providing privacy & a feeling of seclusion with views of the African bush.

The luxurious lounge area leads onto the deck and swimming pool with breathtaking views which can be enjoyed in ultimate isolation. Further facilities include the Bush Relaxation Retreat, internet access, indoor and outdoor dining facilities and gift boutique.

12 tents - 3 Bayethe Hill Superior Tents and 9 Bayethe Luxury Tents offer the added luxury of an indoor spa bath. The Bayethe Hill Superior Tents are each equipped with mini bar, private deck, en-suite bathroom with indoor bath and alfresco shower, hammock, fireplace & a plunge pool.

Game Drives in open game viewing vehicles, walking safaris and photographic safaris. The game drives take between three & four hours, with a sundowners stop at sunset and a coffee stop in the morning. Guided walks can be a highlight and gain a true perspective of the unique fauna & flora. These walks are done by specially trained and qualified game rangers.The Photo Safari's are lead by two renowned photographers guiding guests on a unique photographic safari.

Aside from the Big 5 Shamwari Game Reserve boasts a huge variety of birdlife including a large range of raptors which include Black Harriers, Pale Chanting Goshawks, Black-shouldered Kites, Fish Eagles, Booted Eagles and Secretary Birds.
