All you need to know

Intro

Dotted along the forested riverbanks, Time + Tide Chongwe Camp is surrounded by wild beauty. Set at the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers against a beautiful mountainous backdrop, the camp has the best views in the Lower Zambezi. A stay in the two Time + Tide Chongwe Suites promises a luxurious experience with 24/7 personal butler service, a private plunge pool and utter seclusion.

Listen to playful vervet monkeys scampering in the winterthorn trees overhead, watch as an elephant wades across the languid river, dwarfed by the mountainous escarpment beyond, hear the bellowing hippo pod. Feel the warm breeze drifting past, carrying the earthy aroma of the river. Lean back and breathe deeply, letting the energy of this extraordinary, wild land revitalise your mind and soul.

Highlights

The views! From every tent and suite in the camp you will see the majestic mountain escarpment to the left and the Chongwe River in front of your room. Home to an array of animals and birdlife, guests needn’t leave their tents to enjoy the hippos, elephants, antelope and birds that call the Chongwe River home.
Couple this with both the land and river based game viewing activities and Chongwe River Camp offers guests a truly memorable safari experience
