Explore the beauty of the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve which is 37 500 hectares in size, and allows guests to enjoy unlimited traversing through the reserve mornings and afternoons managed in harmony. Daily safaris depart in the early morning, stopping for refreshments en-route.

Wildlife
The Welgevonden reserve is home to over 50 different mammals, including the Big Five and cheetah. The diversity of the habitat encourages a wide range of wildlife such as the rare brown hyena, aardwolf and aardvark. Antelope abound and there are well over 250 species of birds including the rare blue cranes.
