Gibb’s Farm hugs the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and lies halfway between Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Experience the warmth and gracious hospitality of our team, deeply rooted in East African culture and community, during your stay in one of our intimate and inviting cottages. Our historic farmhouse’s living room and dining areas, along with 21 beautifully decorated one and two bedroom guest cottages provide an elegant, comfortable home away from home.
Safaris
Guests can choose from a walking, hiking, 4x4 or mountain bike safari. Gibb's Farm is the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding national parks such as the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Lake Eyasi. Enjoy day trips to the nearby national parks or simply step outside and explore the forested outer slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater on foot.
Wildlife
Over 270 bird species can be seen in an incredibly varied and beautiful habitat, along with Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Spotted Hyena, Olive Baboon, Blue Monkey, Velvet Monkey, Dik Dik, Tree Hyrax, Water Buck, Bush Baby, Ground Squirrel, Leopard, Porcupine, Genet Cat, Banded Mongoose.
