Intro

Kambaku River Sands sits majestically on the banks of a dry river bed. Completely without fences this camp is home to a continuous stream of animals moving through the camp, with almost daily up close and personal experiences with elephant, buffalo, leopard, hyena and bushbuck to name but a few.

Experience luxury at its best – spoil yourself in the spa, enjoy some of the 45 carefully selected premium wines from our cellar, watch elephants drink from the pool, or work out in the gym while watching animals roaming by.

Highlights

Kambaku River Sands is beautifully positioned on the banks of an ephemeral riverbed.

Being totally unfenced, the camp invites animals to roam freely between the spaciously situated suites.
The main lodge features two enormous open fireplaces as well as a wraparound bar with infinity pool all overlooking the waterhole.

A well-stocked underground wine cellar allows for eye level game viewing through a large protective glass window.
