Intro
Poised on a rocky kopje, the Star Beds command sweeping views over an undulating valley and a permanent waterhole, frequented by resident wildlife.
Handcrafted four-poster wooden beds sit on raised wooden platforms jutting out from a thatched-roof accommodation and are rolled out each night for guests to sleep under the endless African sky.
Rustically designed to complement the surrounding environment, each star bed is individually built in harmony with the natural rocky features, incorporating a sitting area, and open plan bathroom with a view.
A team of traditional Samburu & Laikipiak Maasai warriors welcome and host you with their customary warm African hospitality.

Need To Know
Guests are guided and hosted by a team of traditional Samburu and Laikipiak Maasai warriors. Loisaba Star Beds comprises of 3 doubles and 1 twin or family platform. Each double platform is designed for 1 or 2 people. The family platform accommodates 4 people (sharing bathroom facilities). Each platform is en suite and has solar electricity, hot running water and flush toilets. The platforms are sited to ensure complete privacy.

- 1 or 2 children 12 up to 17 years sharing with 1 adult: adult at per person sharing rate and children pay 75% of the adult rate
- Children under 18 years sharing own room - min 2, max 3 pax: 75% of the adult rate
- A child in his / her room: to be charged the single room rate
Accommodation
Recently renovated, the Loisaba Star Beds sit above a main watering hole- you will often see elephants and hippos on arrival! The “Starbeds” are ensuite rooms perched on raised open wooden platforms, with a rollout bed open to the stars. Ther are:
