Need To Know
Natural, bold colours stand confident and proud, enhancing an ethnic feel throughout the lodge.
Furnishings and mirrors are a deep Imbuia wood, complimented by rich textures ion the fabrics and blinds, whilst ethnic are dramatically showcases the walls of the bedroom.
Safaris
In summer the times change to 05h30 for the morning safari and 16h15 for the afternoon safaris.
Tea and coffee is served before the commencement of morning and afternoon safari.
Wildlife
Game viewing is at its best against a backdrop of rivers, streams and stretches of open vistas.Mammal species include big game such as elephant, lion, white rhino, hippo, leopard, buffalo and cheetah.
African python and the Nile crocodile are also resident in the reserve which is a birdwatchers’ paradise as well.

6 to 11 years of age pay published child rate when sharing with two full paying adults
Full adult rate is applicable if occupying their own room or sharing with one full paying adult

Season
Summers (November to March) are quite warm, reaching temperatures as high as 32 °c. There is summer rainfall, normally in the form of thunder storms.
Autumn (April to May) has warm days with cool evenings.
Winter (June to August) the days are warm with temperatures in the mid-twenties, however early mornings and evenings are very cold.
Spring (September, October) the days warm up but early mornings and evenings are still quite chilly.
