Magari is a brand new lodge set in a truly spectacular position with 180 degree views on a river bend, across to plains and distant hills. The sun sets behind the far hills providing magnificent views from the lodge. Located in heart of the Waterberg plateau, it is a jewel, described by Clive Walker, father of the Waterberg, as having the best views in the Waterberg.
It is a small lodge which is perfect for couples looking for a romantic escape to small groups of friends or fmailies.

Game vieiwng is in 4x4 vehicle sor on foot. Camp outs under the stars are a favourite following a campfire dinner- at which genet cats are regular visitors. Walking safaris are popular and can be tailored to the ability and age mix of the guests.
Game viewing is from 4x 4 vehicles or on foot. All plains game is presnet plus leopard, hippo, crocodile and particulalry frequent sightings of aardvark. A large pack of wild dogs is regularly seen. Night drives present an exciting opportunity to see the more elusive nocturnal animals.

Children 5 years and over are welcome. Our flexible child policy means that chidlren can join in all activities or can enjoy a tailored programme of age-appropraite child and teenager wildlife activities. Our junior tracker programme is very popular where young people learn about the fauna and flora, learn to track animals, astral navigation, bush survival skills and bush cooking. This culminates in a certificate award ceremony wiht the head guide.
Magari sleeps 10 pax across 5 units.
Bedroom 1 is in the main lodge with views down the river.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 - are 'tree house bedrooms' set in the rrees on the edge of the high river bank with breathtaking views, private decks and outdoor showers.
Bedrooms 4 and 5 are a family unit in the garden with a private veranda and a shared bathroom.
Magari is available all year round.

Nothing is too much for the staff although they normally anticipate your every need. Spectacular setting.
Local and seasonal
A pity it is unsafe to stay in an infiniti pool as the view from Magari's once in you will not want to leave. Great views along the river canyon below and over the surrounding Waterburg countryside.
