Intro
Welcome to the Manda family
Manda is currently managed and hosted by Fuzz Dyer and a small and very capable staff.
Manda was formerly The Blue Safari Lodge and bought in 2003 by Fuzz and Bimbi and Caragh & Andy Roberts. It became their family home and both families have hosted guests at Manda for the last 15 years.
Both Roberts and Dyer families are third generation Kenyans who have been involved in the service industry for many years previous to running Manda Bay. The lodge is run in a very relaxed and informal manner.
Highlights
The lodge is situated right on the water's edge and you can step off on to the beach or swim off the front steps right from your bedroom.
We offer boat trips to see the Carmine Bee-eaters which come in their thousands into the mangroove islands to roost.
A resident herd of Cape Buffalo have made Manda Bay their home and visitors can take a drive out with Fuzz to visit them and enjoy this extraordinary relationship we have with them.
