Occupying its own private space and built around the rocks of the Kogakuria Kopje, Mkombe’s House was designed by Joanna Cooke who was also responsible for the award winning Lamai Serengeti. Beautifully styled along the same lines, the House has a fresh, contemporary feel. What we particularly love about it is that while it looks great, it is still somewhere you can completely relax in.
The whole idea behind Mkombe's House was to create a place where families and groups of friends can enjoy their own space, and explore the Northern Serengeti at their own pace. This is a completely private and self contained house so there is absolutely no need to fit in with anyone else. With it's own private guide, vehicle, chef and house staff days at Mkombe's run to your own timetable. Quite simply, it is a home from home in the Serengeti.
