Wildlife Planet is our family safari company dedicated to creating a personalised safari experience for families and groups of friends visiting Africa. Nothing is packaged and we are totally focused on the safari operators, camps and lodges, many that can be booked exclusively, that we know work best for small groups. We have had the incredible luxury of calling Zambia home, with a safari guide father and his lovely chef/assistant (my mum), running canoe and mobile safaris throughout Africa for groups of upto 16 travellers, safari is the life we know. We have all been involved in running safari camps and lodges so have an in-depth knowledge of how they work. We have been a part of every aspect of the safari world and it is our my turn to help you enjoy the Africa that we know and love. The serenity of distant lions roaring, the gentle hum of the African bush punctuated by the occasional hippo or elephant rumble. We are a family run operation. Our father & daughter company has over 50 years of safari experience to draw on. Luke and Suzanne have 20+ years of combined experience in the international luxury travel industry. Prior to going off on their own they have worked in Leading Hotels of the Worldacclaimed properties in Europe and the Middle East.  They have also managed, sold and marketed for ground operations and properties in Botswana and Zimbabwe with great success.   

Now Luke and Suzanne have created Vayeni - their personal dedication to ensuring that the very finest escapes possible can be realised by travellers visiting Zimbabwe and the region.  Through this they believe visitors will have their souls truly touched by this area's people, it's incredible wildlife and the dedication by so many to its conservation for future generations. 

My love of Africa started over 30 years ago and I have been exploring this amazing continent ever since. From my early days of backpacking and working in lodges, then driving through Africa to deliver a Landrover for Save the Rhino International, to founding Farside Africa in 1998. Africa has never failed to inspire me and I think of it as my second home. I have had the pleasure of sharing this beautiful, awe-inspiring continent with my clients for over twenty years and still get elated hearing their wonderful feedback, special memories and amazing adventures on their return.
