Our Habitas Namibia

What's Special About Our Habitas Namibia

Namibia is known for its diverse landscapes and rich animal biodiversity including lions, elephants, rhinos and several antelope species. Our Habitas Namibia is located within the Kalahari biome, home to more unique and remarkable creatures such as the elusive aardvarks, badgers, hyenas and the highly endangered pangolin that can be seen on a night safari. The protected 51,000 privately owned hectares in which the hotel is situated ensures a safari experience away from other tourists, whereby guests will never encounter other safari vehicles. Bush walks are hosted by The San people - the native Bushmen - who, with their ancestral knowledge of the bush, teach guests about tracking, survival skills and medicinal plants.

Set on 51,000 hectares of private wildlife reserve just 45 minutes from Windhoek airport, the country's main airport, Our Habitas Namibia offers a truly unique safari and wildlife experience, through immersive programming defined by the brand’s core pillars: adventure, conservation, music, wellness, culture and food & beverage.

The restaurant serves dishes prepared with ingredients sourced locally, paired with flavours from all over the world.  Menu highlights include Kapana Beef, Game Carpaccio, Sweet and Spicy Brinjal Flatbreads and Braai Broodjies. Alongside the immersive safari drives, the resort offers activities including local dances, drum circles, yoga and meditations. For those seeking a more adventurous experience, guests can learn survival skills from local San tribesmen, Africa’s oldest indigenous communities.

By participating in these experiences, guests actively contribute to local wildlife conservation efforts and support the brand’s community impact initiative, Our Habitas RISE.
