All you need to know

Intro

Pafuri Luxury Tented Camp stretches along the perennial Luvuvhu River situated in the Makuleke, the Northern Kruger National Park.

This is a full-service camp and three meals per day are provided. Guests can take part in a variety of activities including guided walks and game drives. One can also take advantage of specialist birding walks or drives to explore the history and archaeology of the area. Wildlife viewing from this camp can be rather extraordinary with large herds of elephant located in the area during the dry months, there is also a healthy population of buffalo and Pafuri Camp is known for regular sightings of leopard and Pel's Fishing Owl due to its fantastic location on the Luvuvhu River.

Child Policy

0 – 2-year-old children are to share with parents at no extra charge, but are not permitted on any game drives.
3 – 6-year-old children are to share with parents and will be charged the child sharing rate.
7 – 15-year-old children sharing with parents will be charged the child sharing rate.
16 -18-year-old children sharing with parents will be charged the child sharing rate.

Children from 12 and upwards may be accommodated in separate tents but will then be charged the full adult rate.

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to walk when staying at Pafuri Camp.

Please note that this camp is not fenced and children must be under adult supervision at all times.

Please note that Pafuri is a malaria area.

Child minding facilities are available at an additional cost.

Accommodation

This comfortable camp has 19 luxury designer tents with en-suite bathrooms. There are seven ‘family tents' that sleep up to four persons and 12 double tents. The tents offer gorgeous views over the Luvuvhu River, there is also a communal area with a swimming pool – for those balmy days when you need to cool off.

Migrant birds visit from the first rains in November until around the end of April / mid-May.
