Intro
Serengeti Bushtops nestles within the northern sector of the reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage site. With the famous Mara River just 15 miles away, we lie directly in the path of the spectacular annual wildebeest migration. We are not simply witnesses to nature; at Serengeti Bushtops we are participants, living in the heart of the ecosystem which supports the greatest wildlife population in Africa. That means fabulous, abundant wildlife viewing all year round - with a ringside seat for nature's most awesome event.
Highlights
- to come back to camp after a long game drive and get straight into the hot tub and enjoy a sun downer and canapees
- to sit around the camp fire in the evening and mingle with our hosts and other guests and then enjoy a private dinner by the pool.
- to enjoy a private bush breakfast
Need To Know
it gets quite cold in June and July. We recommend to bring warm clothes for the early mornings and nights.
There is a new hot air balloon operator near Kogatende airstrip. This is a once in a liftime experiance.

Season
peak season for the migration is mid June to end of October. We are closed in May.
We highly recommend to consider visiting out of season i.e. from November to April. We are located a one hours game drive from the Mara river and there is plenty of resident game all year round. The magic of visiting out of season is that there is hardly any vehicle traffic during this time which makes it very special for visitors who are looking for privacy.
