The original inspiration for Singita Boulders Lodge came from the geometry of the ancient, weathered boulders and the natural curve of the river bed where the lodge is located. Design takes its cues from nature, incorporating charcoal and copper colours, and textures of the surrounding landscape, reflecting the four elements of earth, fire, air and water. The lodge merges seamlessly with the shifting light, shapes and moods of the environment, providing a soothing sanctuary for world-weary travellers craving a connection with nature.

Inspired by an enormous boulder which now sits in the middle of the wine cellar, Singita Boulders Lodge boasts 12 suites with private plunge pools, indoor and outdoor showers and wrap-around views over the Sand River. The passing wildlife is viewable from the game viewing deck without having to go on a game drive!
