This 140,000 hectare private concession is traversed annually by more than a million wildebeest on their epic migration.

Intro

An unforgettable East African experience, this intimate tented camp is modelled on a 1920s-style explorer’s camp in the middle of the game-rich savannah plains of the Serengeti. Evoking the elegance and romance of a bygone era, the nine tented suites are lavishly furnished with antiques and Zanzibari treasures.

Need To Know

Remote and dedicated to community development, Sabora hosts just 9 tents, yet offers guests a plethora of activities such as swimming, exercising in the gym, star gazing through Swarovski scopes and even tennis.

Safaris

Driving, hot-air ballooning. Twice-daily game safaris are offered, with a qualified guide in a Land Rover game viewing vehicle and no more than six people per vehicle.

Season

East Africa is equatorial, so the climate is fairly constant, making Singita Grumeti a perfect year-round destination.

The Green Season, from November to May, offers long, warm days with short downpours of rain transforming the landscape to a lush green teeming with diverse wildlife.

From June to October is traditionally the migration season and days are warm, sunny and dry.
