Designed to replicate the vintage safari camps of a bygone era, Somalisa Expeditions offers one of the most authentic ways to experience the exceptional wildlife haven of Hwange National Park. The camp is perfect for travellers in search of a classic safari adventure. All of the six simple but luxurious Meru style tents are on slightly raised decking to take advantage of the views over the savannah. The camp is beautifully designed while still maintaining old world charm and authenticity. All of the tents have en suite bathrooms and in-room charging facilities and the main area includes a lounge and dining room that overlooks a small elephant pool. Huge herds of elephants come to drink from the pool daily and the up-close encounters and photographic opportunities with these majestic animals are endless.
