Stanley’s Kopje is the only camp in Mikumi National park set up on a rocky kopje on the Mkata flood plain, it presides over the best game viewing area of the park, the Mwanamboga waterhole.

surrounding Mikumi wilderness, whilst the 12 tents are spaced around the lower
perimeter of the hill, with stunning views across the plains
Season
The dry season between June to end November has the higher concentrations of game. The camp remains open until the end of February, reopening again 1st June each year. Once the rains break the park will turn green and lush quite quickly – beautiful.
