Highlights
The location of the camp (Ol Pejeta Conservancy) has a higher wildlife to area ratio than any Kenyan National Park, and also offers the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, the only Chimp sanctuary in Kenya and equally shelters large numbers of rare and endangered animal species.

The camp has a total 56 luxury tents that come complete with ensuite bathrooms, WIFI and other modern amenities. A short drive from the camp is Olpejeta House, which is set in extensive grounds with glorious views of Mount Kenya, and is a perfect getaway for honeymooners. The camp is gold eco- rated by Ecotourism Kenya, and provides health and educational support to the local community.

The 4,000 hectare Ol Pejeta Conservancy is home to the only Chimpanzee sanctuary in the country and houses endangered species such as the Grevy Zebra, Jackson’s Hartebeest and Spotted Hyenas. Home to 42 Chimpanzees that have been rescued in the past from the hands of captors who only kept them as pets and exposed them to the danger of animal trafficking, this conservancy also plays home to the black and white rhinos.
