All you need to know

Intro
Tafika Camp is nestled on the banks of the Luangwa River just North of the Nsefu sector, a game rich and exquisite section of the South Luangwa National Park. As one of the last owner-operated camps, Tafika offers a welcoming atmosphere with longstanding staff. Exceptional game viewing is combined with mountain biking and walking safaris allowing guests a dynamic bush experience with enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides.
Highlights
At Tafika Camp superb game viewing is combined with exciting unique activities – including mountain bike safaris, walks and game drives as well as visits to Mkasanga village to create a great first taste of the Remote Africa Safaris experience. Tafika's camp hide also offers great game viewing opportunities closer to home and is great for birding and close up views of elephants mud bathing.
Need To Know
Six comfortable and spacious ensuite chalets, each with its own romantic outdoor shower, lie dwarfed beneath giant leadwood trees. With enough space for only six couples, Tafika Camp is a truly intimate experience.
Safaris
All drives are conducted in open top land cruisers with an unobstructed view of the wildlife and sky. Morning and night drives are offered with knowledgeable guides and spotters. Walking safaris are led by an armed scout, an experienced walking guide and a tea bearer who's extra eyes and fire making skills are an added bonus. Cycling safaris are available in the afternoon combined with a night drive. One can get the heart rate up cycling along natural hippo paths while zebras, elephants and antelope feed nearby.
