Need To Know
Absolute paradise for bird lovers and snorkelling enthusiasts. Lush garden and fish pond bring dozens of species of birds and present great photo opportunities. With an amazing reef and lagoon on the doorstep, guests swim in their own private giant aquarium and even the beginners love the experience! Any activity outside Tijara is easily arranged.

At Tijara during reef walks and snorkelling one can see: clam shells, cowries, cone shells, helmet shells, conches, crabs, hermit crabs, moorish idols, lion fish, starfish, butterfly fish, angel fish, boxfish, anemone, anemone fish, porcelain crab, moray eels, snake eels, octopus, corals, parrot fish, wrasse and a large variety of tropical fish

Accommodation
Only four luxurious rooms, each is a separately situated cottage with spacious bathroom with the view, very large bedroom and a large private deck overlooking the Indian Ocean. Each bathroom has "his" and "hers" wash basin and shower. Each room has a super king size bed facing the ocean, dressing table, sofa, coffee table and Arab chest. Private deck can be accessed from both bathroom and the bedroom. All Swahili furniture has been lovingly restored or carved to order by local craftsmen.
